Entertainer Sean Diddy Combs In Car Accident

On Wednesday, hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was involved in a serious car wreck just outside of the Beverly Hills hotel. Sean Combs wasn’t driving, he was merely being chauffeured in a Cadillac Escalade when it smashed into a Lexus RX at the Sunset Boulevard entrance of the hotel. Minutes later, Sean Combs was spotted sprawled across the the lawn in front of the hotel before hotel employees rushed to assist the fallen rapper, his driver and another unidentified passenger as well as those in the Lexus.

Local authorities say that the Lexus turned in front of the SUV, causing the rapper’s driver to crash into it. The Escalade was crushed in the fender bender, and rendered undriveable with all the airbags deployed. At the time of the incident, Sean Combs told police he would “seek his own medical attention”, and later complained of unspecified pain. Fortunately no one had to go to the hospital, and no one has been charged for a crime. Sean Combs would later tweet about this, calling it a “close call”.

Sometimes, people don’t get so lucky. Having a pre-determined plan for such an event is tantamount to handling the situation successfully. The first thing that should be done is to check and see if anyone involved in the car accident is injured. If anyone needs immediate assistance, call 911 to get some help on the way. You must also call the police in order to get a police report filed on the accident. In a hit-and-run situation, many insurance companies specify that the police have to be called in a certain time window in order for them to cover the damages.

It is important to keep a level head in the situation, which may hard to do with your adrenaline pumping. Even so, find a safe place to wait until the police arrive on the scene. When explaining your story to the police, be specific and honest. This makes things less complicated in the long run. After you have the police on their way, call your insurance company. They can give you tips on how to survey the scene or what information you need to get from the other party.

It is also a good idea to carry a disposable camera in your glove box. Recording a scene can be far more convincing than simply drawing it out on paper. Another good thing to do is to take note of any critical details while you are on the scene. Details that are important to the case can be easily forgotten, so take note of any unusual or particularly relevant details while at the scene. Make sure you stay within the time limits for filing your claim, which you can find out by reading your policy.

If you or your loved ones have been injured in a car accident, it is best to contact a car accident lawyer. A professional car accident lawyer will assist you in the event you decide to file a personal injury suit. Time lost at work, pain and suffering and psychological distress can all come as a result of your injury and you should be compensated.
